Written in the January 1972 Newsletter

Cal Poly Wheelmn is the name of the new group at Cal Poly. I just now sat down to the typewriter after returning from their first BIG meeting at Poly. The room was packed with students. Estimates ranged up to 70. About 20 people paid dues and more said they would later. Students and Poly connected people along with alumni are eligible to join. Jason Len is President, Mike Welch is V.P., Ron Lundy is treasurer. Do the names sound familiar? They should. They are members of our club too. I think they will be really successful.
